    Employee Relations
    The primary responsibility of those involved in employee relations is to serve as a resource regarding School of Medicine policies and procedures. The Human Resources Consultants, by definition, interpret policies and procedures within the School of Medicine. They serve as resource personnel and facilitators for employee or departmental complaints or concerns. They manage third-party charges regarding discrimination and inappropriate conduct. They are responsible for unemployment compensation support for assigned departments within the School of Medicine and help facilitate requests compliant with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA). Finally, the Employee Relations team provides management and leadership training on a routine and as needed basis.
